Position Description:
Leads, directs and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project or a portion thereof. May also be responsible for multiple projects.
Reports to:
Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Vice President
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Acting as liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other Developa job staff and Owner’s representatives to assist in resolving issues related to plans and specifications.
• Assisting with assembling Bid Documents.
• Performing document take-offs.
• Developing, managing, and distributing bid clarifications and RFIs.
• Assisting with schedule updates.
• Assisting with the submittal, procurement, and delivery processes.
• Assisting with owner requisition process, including preparing the monthly application for payment and performing a review of subcontractor invoices.
• Administratively assisting team with subcontractor change orders.
• Assisting field supervision team with project documentation including the maintenance of Daily Reports and Inspection Logs.
• Scheduling and administratively assisting in subcontractor trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings, OAC meetings, and submittal review meetings.
• Providing meeting minutes as required by the project team.
• Supporting the punch list process. Assisting in the project closeout & warranty process, including providing any necessary ownership training and to develop O&M Manuals and as-built warranty information
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline, or equivalent construction management experience. Must be a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities & work styles, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite. Utilization of leading-edge technologies. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
