Role Description This Full-time Executive Assistant role is an on-site position based in Frankfort, KY. The Executive Assistant will provide direct administrative and organizational support to executive leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing expense reports. Daily responsibilities include drafting and proofreading correspondence, organizing documents and presentations, maintaining records, and assisting with board materials and meeting logistics. The role also involves serving as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, supporting special projects, and ensuring efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Experience with Administrative Assistance tasks such as record keeping, office organization, and workflow prioritization.
- Ability to accurately manage Expense Reports and basic financial or budget tracking.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders or executives; experience in government, economic development, or nonprofit settings is a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, administration, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
