Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter/General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting, finishing, and general labor tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise craftsmanship and efficient work practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless paint sprayers and brushes
- Read blueprints, schematics, and project plans to accurately execute painting and finishing tasks according to specifications
- Perform demolition, framing, trim carpentry, masonry, stucco application, and drywall installation as needed for renovation projects
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assist with project measurements and material calculations
- Operate construction equipment including scaffolding, ladders, concrete finishing tools, welding equipment, and other hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with miscellaneous maintenance tasks on-site such as fixture installation, restoration work, masonry repairs, and general handyman duties
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment on construction sites
Pay: $21.00 per hour
