Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Specialist to join the DTS family. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.

• Madison

Position

• Part-time 2nd shift local-delivery position.
• Average Route 5-15 stops.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with proper Delivery/ lifting techniques and safe handling practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to use GPS and hands-free cell phones
• Ability to read and follow directions/maps in English
• Applicants must be 21 years old or older
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products using equipment such as a Dolly, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. (be able to lift 5-10 pounds).
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with DTS Management to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and DTS company policies while on the road and in the warehouse environment.
• Check totes/bags/Box's for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure
• Delivery correct totes/bags/Box's to facilities in a timely manner
• Exchange facility Totes/bags/box's as needed
• Pick-up return items when required; using all safety protocols
• Complete all paperwork/filing requirements accurately at the end of each work shift
• Work with DTS team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed
• Comply with all Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding safeguarding of client information
• Complete delivery assignments within the shift time assigned, while complying with all traffic regulations
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 - $700.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
