Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Product Owner to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role focuses on gathering business requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog and user stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and QA
- Translate business needs into clear product features and acceptance criteria
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and product demos
- Support release planning and stakeholder communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience with healthcare or regulatory information management projects
Preferred
- Certification such as CSPO, CBAP, or PMI-PBA
- Experience with enterprise information management or data governance systems
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $72,146.27 - $86,885.83 per year
