Job Summary
The machinist will be responsible for crankcase, cylinder head, and/or general engine component remanufacturing.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspection and full remanufacturing of crankcases, cylinder heads, and/or other engine components.
- Inspection and reworking other various engine components as required.
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Safely Load and unload product into a machine
- Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances.
- Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting offsets as needed.
- Perform first article and buyoff.
- Meets production demands.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to skillfully operate crankcase remanufacturing machines.
- Confirming orders into SAP
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience in general machining practice
- Ability to read and interpret G-codes, M-codes.
- Experience with CNC Haas mill setup, proving program

- Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0% depending on business needs.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 Years experience with general CNC Lathe and mill operations
- Knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of Engines
- Experience operating a Sunnen Hone & HAAS CNC vertical mill.
- Employee will be working in a warehouse environment. Employee will be subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, and oil. The Warehouse is environment is not a temperature controlled environment.
