Overview

The Group Audit (GA) function is a professional, business focused, proactive risk-based global audit team that operates with transparency, integrity, and independence, and assists the Bank's business and infrastructure areas to identify key control weaknesses.

You will work with staff and management within GA to deliver regional and/or global finding validations, targeted reviews, and audits. You will become an integral member of a diverse high-performance Investment Bank - Sales & Trading audit team.

What You'll Do

• Support on audits of the Investment Bank (IB) Sales & Trading team with specific guidance from the audit lead
• Support audit team on analytical aspects of audit work throughout the entire audit lifecycle
• Focus on fieldwork phase of an audit and build a working knowledge of audit methodology.
• Draft exceptions/findings as a result of audit testing, under the supervision of the audit lead
• Assist the team with validating findings that were submitted for closure.

Skills You'll Need

• Undergraduate or equivalent degree required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CFA, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Ability and willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Team working capabilities and the ability to build strong business and team relationships.
• Financial and numerical competence and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within GA and with stakeholders.

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $120,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration
