Detwiler’s is hiring a skilled and reliable Fish Cutter to join our team at our brand-new Distribution Center in Palmetto. This early-morning role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering top-quality seafood to our customers.
?? Key Responsibilities

Receive, fillet, and clean whole fish including Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Snapper, Grouper, Halibut, and more

Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper product rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste

Identify high-quality seafood by appearance, texture, and smell

Operate equipment such as large knives, wrapping machines, scales, compactors, and garbage disposals

Uphold Detwiler’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food handling at all times

Located in our refrigerated Distribution Center (temperatures below 40°F)

Shift begins at 3:00 AM, requiring punctuality and reliability
