Pointe Cabinets & Design is seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen & Bath Designer & Sales Associate with a proven track record in luxury residential design and sales. We are specialty design and remodeling company that focuses on creating custom spaces. We emphasize high-quality workmanship, personalized design services, and attention to detail for residential as well as commercial clients.
As a senior designer, you will work closely with high-end clients, architects, builders, and our integrated design-build partners to create thoughtful, beautifully executed spaces. We are looking for someone who combines strong creative vision with confident sales ability, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
Based in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan we serve client throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
o Design and sell custom kitchens, baths, and interior spaces using 2020 Design and other applicable design platforms
o Meet with clients, architects, builders, and design/build firms to develop concepts, space plans, and material selections
o Prepare proposals, quotes, detailed cabinetry specifications, and related documentation
o Present design solutions confidently and guide clients through the complete design and build process
o Coordinate with custom cabinet manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers regarding product selections, pricing, lead times, and order details
o Maintain accurate and organized project files and follow projects from concept through completion
o Collaborate effectively within a team environment while managing projects independently
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who combines cutting-edge design expertise with strong sales ability. This role requires a professional who thrives on client interaction, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and consistently delivers functional, beautifully executed spaces that exceed expectations.
We're looking for someone who:
o Minimum 5 years of experience designing high-end kitchens and baths
o Extensive knowledge of 2020 Design and proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms
o Strong understanding of custom cabinetry, millwork, and installation details
o Experience working with custom cabinet manufacturers
o Proven experience preparing design proposals and technical documentation
o Current knowledge of kitchen and bath industry trends, materials, product categories, and emerging technologies
o Solid understanding of construction means and methods
o Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents
o Experience with cost estimating and construction coordination is a plus
o Strong sales history with demonstrated ability to build trust and close projects
o Ability to coordinate meetings and collaborate with design/build firms
o Reliable personal transportation
