Job Summary:
- Material handler operates a forklift around the facility to stage containers and materials, and removes containers and materials as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unloads material on/off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices using a forklift
- Moves parts and unused material from the machine area to subsequent processing departments or to shipping or storage
- Plan and stage materials ahead of operator needs
- Change propane cylinders when needed on the forklift
- Assist operators with setup when needed
- Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Required)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
- Previous forklift experience
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
- Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
- Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
- Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
- Reliable to come to work every day and be on time
- Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm CST
Overtime as needed during week and/or weekends
Salary : $15
