Launch Coordinator

Job Summary:
 The Launch Coordinator manages product launches for new business, part revisions, and obsolete parts. This role ensures successful coordination between production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and meet customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review new parts and routings at handoff and return issues to Estimating when needed.
• Coordinate launch activities, maintaining status and documentation in the MRP system.
• Ensure required tools, documentation, and approvals (PPAP/ISIR) are in place for production.
• Communicate with customers on launch status, due dates, and deviations.
• Collaborate with Scheduling to set work order priorities and support production and certification initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications (Required)

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years in manufacturing
• Excel

Job Qualifications (Preferred)

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field from an accredited college
• Experience in PPAP or ISIR submittal
• Knowledge of Syteline
• Ability to read blueprints
• 3 years in manufacturing

Physical Requirements Of The Job: 

While this role is primarily salaried and may include office or administrative work, it also requires periodic presence on the production floor. As such, the following physical requirements apply during those times:

• Occasional walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting during floor presence
• Able to occasionally walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and lift during shifts spent on the floor
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled and noisy environment when on the production floor
• Occasional overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including apparel and safety devices
• Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) sufficient for reading documents, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, labels, and other work-related materials
