Job Summary:
Customer Service Representative will work directly with customers to process orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Download EDI/Order Entry: Analyze Validation Report, address any revision changes, price discrepancies, obsolete parts, new parts, orders received with little or no lead-time, etc.
- Manual entry of Customer Orders (keyboard accuracy is a must)
- Manage Customer Portals
- Contact Customers on any orders received within our standard lead-time. Negotiate new due dates, if possible. Work with Master Schedule and Plant Manager on any short lead-time orders.
- Complies with all safety and environmental regulations, and works to create and promote a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Required)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations)
- 3 years’ experience in Customer Service
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
- Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
- Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
- Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
- Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
- Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
