The impact of the Chamber's effort is also aimed at increasing per capita income.

Detroit Reconnect supports adults ages 25 and over who are interested in furthering their education in collaboration with postsecondary institutions. Detroit Reconnect provides adults with free institution-neutral college and career navigation and wrap-around support to create a personalized pathway to and through college.
Position Summary
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about supporting students and understanding the needs of diverse student populations, especially adult students.
Qualifications For The Success Coach
Position Functions
These positions are contract (1099). The expected time required for this support will be approximately 32 hours per week.

- Experience working with a diverse population
- Knowledge of student development and resources to promote student success
- Broad experience with networking and cultivating relationships
- Ability to encourage and empower students to make their own decisions
- Able to successfully educate and present information to groups of individuals with a wide variety audience
