What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as a liaison between the Human Resources team and the Summer Internship Class, supporting communication, engagement, and learning experiences throughout the program.
- Assist with the design, coordination, and facilitation of the Summer Internship Program, including intern development sessions, leadership programming, and volunteer initiatives.
- Support the strategy, coordination, and execution of Learning & Development initiatives, including 313 University programs, people leader development, and professional skill-building sessions.
- Assist with learning operations and systems, including maintaining training records, tracking participation, and supporting LMS administration and reporting.
- Help create, update, and organize learning materials, presentations, and development resources aligned with organizational competencies and career pathways.
- Support program evaluation efforts by collecting feedback, analyzing learning data, and assisting with post-session summaries and insights.
- College students entering their junior or senior year, or recently graduated college within the last six months, studying Human Resources, Communications, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and solid attention to detail.
- Hard-working, self-improvers who are a self-starter, proactive, and possess a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week, unless otherwise agreed upon with their supervisor. Some interns must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Ability to commit to the 10-week season assignment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from The Pistons Performance Center and provide your own housing throughout the duration of the internship.
