What You'll Do
- Monitor facility entrances, exits, and access points to verify credentials and authorization.
- Conduct security patrols and visual inspections to identify safety, security, and fire/life safety concerns.
- Monitor CCTV, access control, visitor management, and other security systems as needed.
- Protect employees, guests, visitors, and facility property from unauthorized access, theft, damage, and other security concerns.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including injuries and potential safety or security threats.
- Investigate incidents, gather information, interview involved parties, and complete accurate incident reports.
- Assist with parking and event security operations as needed.
- Provide basic first aid and support emergency response efforts when necessary.
- Enforce company policies related to access, property removal, and facility security.
- Provide professional, courteous, and responsive service to employees, guests, and visitors.
- Maintain knowledge of security procedures, emergency protocols, and site-specific requirements.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, fire/medical services, or a related field required.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, particularly during emergencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with employees, guests, visitors, and security team members.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, visitor management, and other security systems.
- Ability to safely bend, lift, and perform physical duties required of the position.
- Ability to respond appropriately to physical confrontations and use minimal force when necessary and consistent with company policy.
- Must successfully pass required background and motor vehicle history checks.
