What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening KidZone Employee position at Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center?
Job Summary: A DLCCC Kidzone child watch employee is responsible for providing
quality care and maintaining a healthy, fun, and safe environment for children. Shifts are weeknights
from 4:00pm - 7:00pm with additional option of working family events.
Key Duties and Tasks:
- Courteous and professional customer service
- Answer phones appropriately
- Schedule Kidzone reservations
- Knowledge of all Kidzone requirements
- Keep informed of promotions, pricing, membership information, employee updates, marketing, etc.
- Cleaning of Kidzone room
- Arrive on-time for scheduled shifts
- Attendance of staff meetings
- Possible additional shifts during family friendly events
- All other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
- Must be minimum of 15 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (within first three months of hire).
- Previous experience caring for children.
- Maintain a positive attitude with members and staff and able to interact in a positive and professional manner.
- Wear appropriate clothing.
- Dedication to the success of the facility.
Position Is:
- Report to Kidzone Supervisor
- Is a part-time position
- Is an “at will” position
