We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing various HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work independently in the field, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components of HVAC systems.
- Conduct field service calls to address customer needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems in facilities.
- Drive company van to service locations while adhering to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.86 - $28.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
