Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Detroit Forming, Inc. is a manufacturer of plastic packaging for the food industry. DFI has been in business for over 60 years and has operations in 6 states and 2 countries. We have never had a layoff in our history.

We are seeking individuals to work in our warehouse. This position has room for advancement, depending on experience.

Job Description:

• Operate forklift daily (will certify and/or recertify upon hire)
• Load and unload truckloads of palletized raw material and finished goods
• High speed order picking
• Check inventory regularly and work closely with front office to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Past shipping and receiving experience
• Strong math skills
• Good attendance record
• Strong organizational skills, works well independently and under time constraints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
