We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Duties
- Measure and mark fence lines accurately according to project specifications and site plans
- Prepare the installation area by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting foundation posts or concrete footings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery to assemble fence panels, posts, gates, and related components
- Install various fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or ornamental metal fences with precision and care
- Conduct welding or masonry work as needed for secure post anchoring or decorative features
- Ensure all fencing is aligned properly, level, and securely fastened to meet safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment; troubleshoot issues during installation processes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, frame carpentry, or masonry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools required for installation tasks
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques for secure post setting
- Experience with welding or landscape maintenance is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate installation specifications
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance
