Detroit Country Day School (DCDS) is excited to announce an opportunity for a Varsity Men's Swim Assistant Coach to join our Athletics Department.
In this role, the Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in providing instruction, mentorship, and leadership to student-athletes. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, training sessions, and competitions; supporting tryouts and team selection; maintaining a safe and positive environment; collaborating with athletics leadership and support staff; and communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Ideal candidates will have coaching experience (preferably at the high school level), strong communication skills, knowledge of sport fundamentals, current CPR certification, and a student-centered, positive approach.
