Date posted: September 26, 2025 Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour Job description: Detroit Aggregate is looking for a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment. What Kronos Offers: Starting Pay: $33-$35/HR (depending on experience) Medical, Dental and Vision benefits Life insurance Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Off Responsibilities Include: Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials Tire repair Landing gear repair Job Requirements: 2 year of experience Basic set of tools Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators If interested, please fill out our online application.
