Auto Detail Team Lead

Job Description:

Are you motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a fast-growing mobile detailing business? We’re hiring a Mobile Auto Detailer who will work directly with the owner and be trained to take the lead on detailing jobs—and eventually manage a small team.

This is more than just a job cleaning cars. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision work and wants to master the craft of professional detailing—including advanced services like paint correction and ceramic coating.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, detail, and restore vehicles using our proven process
• Perform paint correction and ceramic coating applications
• Drive to customer locations and deliver excellent service on-site (company vehicle)
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of detailing equipment and work vehicle
• Learn and follow high standards for finish quality and customer satisfaction
• Eventually lead detailing jobs solo and train/manage other employees
• Assist with scheduling, quality control, and client communication as needed
• Upsell for additional bonuses!

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing flawless work
• Physically able to work outdoors and handle full vehicle details
• Reliable, professional, and eager to learn advanced detailing skills
• Interest in growing into a team lead or manager role

Preferred Experience:

• Paint correction using polishers and compounds
• Ceramic coating preparation and application
• Prior auto detailing experience
• Leadership or customer service background

Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time

Location: We are mobile & serve the Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head & surrounding areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
