Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper or cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or hotel settings. This role is essential for ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented for use.
- Conduct floor care activities, including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Assist with light cooking duties as needed, ensuring meals are prepared according to dietary preferences or restrictions.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in residential or hotel settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
