Influence Product Development

  • Collaborate with electrical, firmware, systems, and mechanical engineers throughout the product development process.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and ensure quality and reliability requirements are incorporated into designs.
  • Review engineering documentation, requirements, verification plans, and design outputs to identify potential risks.
  • Support product development teams in achieving successful design validation and product release readiness.

Lead Risk Management Activities

  • Facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) activities for new and existing products.
  • Coach engineering teams on effective risk identification, mitigation, and documentation practices.

  • Support process improvements that increase development efficiency and product quality.
  • Help establish engineering standards, best practices, and standard work across global development teams.
  • Provide training and mentoring on quality and reliability tools and methodologies.

Support Sustaining Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to address product quality concerns and drive corrective actions.
  • Support product improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, field performance data, and reliability trends.
  • Represent Design Engineering in cross-functional quality improvement efforts.

What You Bring Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years of experience in product development, quality engineering, reliability engineering, systems engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience leading root-cause investigations and solving complex technical problems.
  • Experience with structured product development processes.
