Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including residential painting, floor care, and surface maintenance to uphold high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Daily trash collection, monitor hallways, laundry/trash rooms and running trash compactor throughout the day.
- Daily cleaning including: mopping, dusting, vacuuming, general daily cleaning of apartment buildings.
- Ensuring the building grounds are kept cleaned, picking up trash, emptying outdoor trash containers and pet waste stations.
- Support facilities management by supervising small teams during maintenance projects and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field with a focus on repair and upkeep.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Experience supervising or leading teams in a maintenance or facilities setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
