Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a 1st Grade Teacher. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, teaching various subjects to elementary students, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additional duties include assessing students' progress, communicating with parents, and participating in school events and activities.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.

• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to facilitate student learning and promote critical thinking skills.

• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and support staff to address student needs and promote academic success.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.

Qualifications

• Skills in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education are required
• Experience in Teaching and effective Communication skills
• Qualifications in Education
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Ability to integrate faith-based education within the curriculum
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred
• Certifications in teaching are a plus
