Role Overview: The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for finding and connecting with top entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Denver and Boulder area. With your deep network in the entrepreneurial space, you’ll make an impact by building meaningful relationships, driving new client growth, and helping us become the go-to firm for entrepreneurs in wealth management. You’ll be at the forefront of our mission, teaming up with our client advisors to deliver an exceptional experience, while developing strategies to grow our presence and influence in the local market. What This Looks Like:

  • Client Acquisition – your focus will be finding new entrepreneurial clients, especially those who need advanced, bespoke wealth management with a focus on their needs as a business owner
  • Relationship Building - Leverage personal networks, attend entrepreneur-focused events, and engage in community activities to build and maintain relationships with influential entrepreneurs, professional partners, and business leaders
  • Brand Awareness – In partnership with the Chief Growth Officer, develop strategies to increase the firm’s brand presence in Austin and enhance our reputation as a premier wealth management resource for entrepreneurs
  • Collaboration - Partner with our client service team to ensure that new clients receive a high-touch, custom experience based on their needs. Align business development activities with the firm’s growth objectives and client experience standards

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Network in Denver and/or Boulder and engagement within the entrepreneurial community
  • Familiarity with financial planning, investment strategies, and wealth preservation tailored to business owners.
  • Previous sales experience with demonstrated ability to generate leads and maintain long-term client relationships within financial services, consulting, or a related industry focused on high-net-worth or entrepreneurial clients.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) preferred but not required.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary - $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Variable Compensation – Performance-based incentives with no caps and significant earning potential
