You’ll help set the tone, support scholars in finding their best selves, and help classrooms run like a well-tuned song — predictable, positive, and full of possibility.
Who You Are
You’re the calm in the storm, the steady hand that helps kids reset and refocus. You believe in structure and joy, in holding scholars to high expectations while helping them feel safe and seen. You love a good routine, know that consistency builds trust, and have a knack for turning tough moments into teachable ones.
What You’ll Do
- Support teachers in implementing lessons, classroom activities, and behavior plans that help every scholar thrive.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance to reinforce learning and social-emotional skills.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of certified staff.
- Supervise scholars during transitions, lunch, recess, and dismissal — keeping safety, kindness, and consistency top of mind.
- Use positive behavior strategies to maintain an encouraging and inclusive classroom culture.
- Prepare materials, support classroom organization, and jump in wherever your help is needed most.
- Track scholar progress and share meaningful insights with teachers and school leaders.
- Participate in professional learning to grow your skills in behavior support and student engagement.
What You Bring

- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience with elementary-age children, ideally in a school setting.
- Basic tech proficiency (Google Workspace, digital learning tools, etc.).
Physical Requirements
- Active engagement with scholars throughout the day (standing, walking, interacting).
- Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- Comfortable working in classrooms, playgrounds, and shared school spaces.
