Alpine Express Tire and Lube Technician
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lube Technician will assist the shop mechanics with oil changes
- Filter changes
- Remove and install batteries as needed
- Inspect engine for leaks
- Brake changes as needed
- Change and rotate tires
- Parts delivery when needed
- Parts pick up as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized shop
- Walk the lot of fleet vehicles and notate any observed items that require attention
- Remove and install basic equipment in or on vehicles upon request
- Remove and Place company logos and various stickers as required by DOT and PUC regulations
- Inspect vehicle fluids and top off as needed
- Complete other assignments and tasks as assigned by the Chief Mechanic
Education/Skills Required
High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent is preferred
One year of related work experience, preferred.
Subject to random Drug and Alcohol Testing through the FTA pool, if performing a safety-sensitive function (moving revenue vehicles, etc.)
Highly self-motivated and responsive to direction.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 10 pounds-100 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting, stretching and frequent hand and finger dexterity.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (eye protection, gloves, etc.)
Full-Time, Year-Round

Salary: $19.00 to $23.00 (DOE)
