Destination Madison is seeking a Content & Social Media Specialist to help bring our brand to life through compelling content and social media. This role is ideal for a creative marketer who enjoys planning, creating, and executing content that drives engagement and supports destination marketing goals.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and execute social and digital content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and email
- Create annual content plans and monthly content calendars
- Write, curate, and publish engaging social, email, web and other digital content
- Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, creators, and vendors on campaigns and content production
- Track performance, stay on top of trends, and use insights to improve reach and engagement
- Support seasonal and thematic marketing campaigns from concept through execution
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 1–3 years of professional marketing or content experience
- Hands-on experience managing social and digital campaigns
- Strong writing skills and ability to adapt brand voice across platforms
- Experience with social platforms, email marketing tools, and CMS platforms
- Knowledge of the Greater Madison area is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $58,000, depending on experience
- A comprehensive benefits package of paid holidays, vacation, health insurance, 401k and other benefits is included
