Why You?
You are an outgoing, creative, and efficient bartender looking for a space where your glowing personality can shine. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the exciting energy of a busy night, even mid-week. You have a sense of genuine hospitality and sincerely care about every guest experience. You have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a team leader behind a full-service bar, have used a POS system, and have practiced cash management.
The Day to Day.
- Provide genuine unwavering hospitality.
- Perform all bartender duties to the highest level of professionalism and excellence. Lead by example.
- Set up, operate and close the physical bar space to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Manage all ingredient preparations and maintain stock levels of all ingredients and supplies. Make sure the bar is always “set up for success.”
- Create seasonal cocktails and special cocktails and collaborate to design creative and relevant cocktail menus.
- Conceptualize, prepare, distribute and manage bar documentation (recipes, cocktail overviews, prep lists, stock par lists etc.).
- Assist with product ordering and inventory. Monitor cost of goods and diligently work to meet cost goals.
- Maintain TIPS certification, enforce all laws relating to alcohol sales, and practice responsible alcohol service techniques.
- Provide exceptional guest service at all times.
Compensation - $15 - $17 per hour plus tips and access to our comprehensive benefits program after 60 days.
- When participating in our group health plan you will be provided with a health insurance benefit contribution up to $125 per pay period, or $3,250 annually. This amount is pre-tax and is contributed to your overall individual monthly premium. Your eligibility is effective after the obligatory 60-day waiting period.
- Up to 80 hours PTO (two weeks) per 2080 hours worked the first year and up to 120 hours (three weeks) per 2080 hours worked each year after.
- Accumulated sick time at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours in a year.
- Tuition reimbursement for pre-approved, industry related coursework up to $1k per year.
