Summary

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast paced position.

Qualifications

Some duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeping Houseman position include:

• Keep hotel public areas inside and out, clean and stocked throughout the shift as scheduled or instructed by Housekeeping management.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, etc.
• Properly report maintenance problems found in the Hotel during your shift.
• Keep designated storage areas clean and orderly and follow instructions for stocking linen and/or supply closets.
• Complete any special projects as given by Housekeeping Management.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

Some desired qualifications for the Housekeeping Houseman position include:

Able to meet physical qualifications of the job, which include bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling and long periods of standing. Able to work as part of a team to assist others to complete assignments.

Tentative schedule: 8:00am -4:00pm/ weekends and holidays required.

Pay rate: $15 /hour.
