Summary

As a Golf Range Attendant at our esteemed resort, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests at the practice facilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the driving range, ensuring ample supply of balls, and keeping the area clean and organized. Additionally, you will aid golfers, including club cleaning, equipment rentals, and offering tips for improving their game. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for golfers of all skill levels. Collaborating closely with the golf staff, you'll uphold the resort's standards of excellence, contributing to the satisfaction and enjoyment of our guests as they hone their skills on the range.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee the daily operation of the golf driving range, including setting up and closing down the range, ensuring the availability of golf balls, and maintaining equipment.
• Manage the rental and return of golf clubs, ensuring they are clean, in good condition, and readily available for guests.
• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure that golfers adhere to range rules, including proper use of equipment and maintaining a safe distance from others.
• Monitor inventory levels of golf balls, tees, and other range accessories, and coordinate with management to restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the driving range, including picking up stray balls, emptying trash bins, and tidying up the hitting bays and surrounding areas.
• The colleague is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Previous experience working in a golf course environment, particularly in a customer service role, is often preferred.
• Familiarity with golf equipment, terminology, and basic golf swing mechanics is beneficial.
• Additional education or training in hospitality, recreation management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Previous Hotel or Resort experience desired.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working as a Range Attendant at our resort provides a dynamic and engaging environment surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of our golf facilities. Your role involves spending much of your time outdoors, interacting with golfers and ensuring the smooth operation of the driving range. You'll experience a variety of weather conditions, from sunny days to occasional rain, requiring adaptability and preparedness to handle changes effectively. The pace can be brisk during peak times, necessitating quick thinking and excellent communication skills to maintain order and guest satisfaction. While the role involves physical activity such as replenishing golf balls and assisting with equipment, the opportunity to engage with golfers and contribute to their practice experience makes for a rewarding work environment. Collaborating with fellow staff members and being part of a vibrant hospitality team further enriches the working atmosphere, creating memorable moments for both guests and employees alike.
