ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary aspects of banquet events, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation and service.
- Lead and support banquet kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and stewards, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Banquets team to plan menus that meet event specifications, guest preferences, and dietary needs.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across all banquet offerings.
- Manage inventory and ordering for banquet operations, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Uphold and enforce kitchen safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to banquet culinary staff, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required.
- Culinary education or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role, ideally within banquet or high-volume event settings in hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead kitchen teams and deliver exceptional food for large-scale events.
- Experience in staff development and training.
- Prior hotel or resort experience strongly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
