Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in delivering delicious products to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are measured accurately and mixed properly for optimal results.
- Package finished products attractively for display and sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods for events, customers or restaurants.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and taking special orders when necessary.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines throughout all stages of food production.
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, particularly in baking and cooking.
- Experience in food production within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with patrons and team members.
- Familiarity with various kitchen tools, including mixers and baking equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
