We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Counter Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the frontline representative, assisting customers with their tire needs, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help drive customer satisfaction and support our ongoing success in the automotive parts industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and provide expert assistance in selecting vehicle parts, tires and accessories
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service
- Assist in inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control using inventory management systems
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments securely
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tires and parts are properly stocked and labeled
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance Requirements
- Proven experience in retail tire sales or automotive parts sales, preferably within a dealership or auto repair environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining inventory accuracy
- Customer service-oriented attitude with strong customer skills and phone etiquette
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills related to vehicle maintenance and repair are desirable.
