Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Southaven, MS, for an Office Assistant / Receptionist. The individual in this position will manage daily front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls, receiving visitors, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth office procedures. Additional responsibilities will include managing office supplies, maintaining records, and providing administrative and clerical support to the team.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing excellent administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Checking In/Out clients
- Collecting copayments, deductibles, and co-insurances
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and generating reports
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a medical office setting or similar administrative role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus (Medical receptionist)
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Tebra.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with front desk operations and phone systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
