Urgent Care Veterinarian – Port Orchard, Washington
An established small animal practice is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its growing medical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, same-day care for pets with non-critical conditions, serving as an important bridge between general practice and emergency services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and committed to delivering timely, thoughtful medical care while maintaining strong client communication and a focus on patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient, high-quality care for pets presenting with urgent but non-life-threatening conditions
Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of medical and minor surgical cases
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding and trust in care decisions
Maintain detailed medical records and uphold best practices in all aspects of patient care
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that supports collaboration and learning
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Washington
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
