Position Overview:
We are looking for a polished and design-driven Showroom Sales & Design Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with an appreciation for high-end design, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to guide clients through both the aesthetic and functional aspects of flooring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized, consultative showroom experiences for clients, including homeowners, interior designers, and contractors.
- Curate and present flooring selections that align with the client’s design vision, lifestyle, and budget.
- Develop flooring design selections and project proposals that showcase flooring options in a luxury setting.
- Manage client relationships from initial consultation through order placement and follow-up.
- Collaborate with our estimators, project managers, installers, and vendors to ensure accuracy and seamless execution.
- Stay current on design trends, new product lines, and innovations in flooring.
- Maintain an elevated, organized showroom environment that reflects the company’s premium brand.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in interior design, showroom sales, or luxury home products (flooring, furniture, custom window treatments, cabinetry, tile, etc.).
- Proven ability to sell and consult in a design-focused retail or showroom environment.
- Strong design sense with the ability to create compelling presentations and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, client service, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; design software ( AutoCAD, or similar) and CRM sales software systems is a plus.
- Highly professional, polished demeanor with an understanding of the expectations of luxury clientele.
