Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Training Coordinator to join our team. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, scheduling, and delivering training programs for new and current caregivers. This role ensures all staff meet compliance standards and have the knowledge and confidence to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement onboarding and ongoing training programs for caregivers and support staff
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions (e.g., personal care, safety procedures, client interaction)
- Maintain training records and ensure staff certifications are current
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness; make improvements as needed
- Coordinate with compliance and HR to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, home care regulations, and certification standards
Skills
- Strong presentation and instructional skills (in-person and virtual)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation
- Attention to detail and ability to document compliance activities accurately
- Ability to adapt training style to a diverse audience of caregivers
- Familiarity with home care or healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, or related field preferred)
- Clean background
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
