Responsibilities for accounting manager · Manages the accounting close and reconciliation process, with focus on: Banking, Inventory/COGS, Prepaids, Gaming accruals. · Aides in the preparation and distribution of period-end internal financial reports and analysis · Participates in special projects as needed · Develops and maintains a system of internal controls, including related documentation, to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with external reporting requirements and Company policies and procedures · Manage treasury and near-term cash forecasts, along with initiating wires, transfers, ACH payments, etc. · Oversee and ensure compliance with Gaming, Federal, State, and Local regulations · File Sales and Use, Gaming, and other state, county, and municipal taxes. · Manage Company’s Gaming Internal Controls and Regulatory Compliance · Perform other job-related duties as assigned · Coordinate and manage external and regulatory audits
Qualifications:Qualifications for accounting manager
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated success working inter-departments
· Experience in dynamic accounting departments, with financial reporting and audit coordination a plus
· Very strong excel skills and experience, including working knowledge of advanced functions
· Capability of understanding new information at a rapid pace
· Experience with multiple technology platforms/domains in the accounting arena, including Intacct, Great Plains, and enterprise payroll systems
· University degree in Accounting, with CPA certification a plus
· Gaming Experience Mandatory
· Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in sizable companies
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
