About the Role:
As a Project Manager at DeSimone Consulting Engineering, you’ll lead diverse structural and façade restoration projects from concept through construction. You’ll oversee budgets, schedules, and resources while maintaining the highest standards of engineering quality and safety. In this role, you’ll guide project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure seamless coordination between design, field operations, and business objectives.
What You'll Do:

Direct and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.

Lead construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, and site observations.

Conduct and oversee field investigations for structural assessments, failure analysis, and façade evaluations.

Apply advanced technical expertise in forensic and restoration engineering to solve complex design challenges.

Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and design teams through meetings and presentations.

Support project budgeting, financial reporting, and resource planning to achieve profitability targets.
What We're Looking For:

BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with emphasis on building structures and restoration projects.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Proficiency in relevant building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).

Proven experience in project and staff management, including mentoring and team leadership.

Strong communication and client relationship management skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Motivated, collaborative, and proactive approach with a commitment to quality and innovation.

Ability to travel periodically for site visits and client meetings.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
