Position Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented, organized, and driven team member to support the Walmart Think Ink business. This role plays a key part in executing product development strategy managing all product information from ideation through manufacturing. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development Support
· Complete product specification sheets for each new item.
· Obtain competitive quotes from multiple factories to ensure best pricing.
· Gather and enter product data (sizes, weights, inner/master pack counts, product images) into Walmart data systems (QMS) and internal databases.
· Assign UPCs and stock numbers for all new items.
· Submit Job Requests to the Creative team, outlining design needs for buyer presentations and production artwork.
· Proof product and packaging files prior to factory release; coordinate final approvals with the Creative Director upon sample receipt.
· Send final product files and specifications to factories and the Quality Assurance team.
· Coordinate Walmart’s required product review process with Bazaarvoice, ensuring photography and web content meet deadlines and standards.
Product Management and Compliance
· Coordinate testing applications and certifications, including FSC, RFID, and How2Recycle.
· Partner with the Quality Assurance team to schedule and track factory inspections during production.
· Support Purchasing by maintaining accurate product data in NetSuite, including updated specs, weights, costs, delivery dates, and item numbers.
Sampling Coordination
· Manage and track all incoming and outgoing samples between factories and Walmart LOC.
· Review factory samples for accuracy and compliance with approved specifications.
· Organize and prepare samples for Walmart reviews, seeding programs, and internal presentations.
· Coordinate creation of mockup samples for sales and account deadlines.
· Maintain sample storage: unpack, organize, label, and inventory as needed.
