DesignWerkes, Inc. is looking for an experienced 2nd shift CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience running equipment in a production environment. This role focuses on operating machines, maintaining production, and ensuring quality parts. Machine setups will be handled by experienced setup personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to drawings and work instructions
- Maintain consistent production while monitoring part quality
- Perform basic inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Check parts during production to ensure they meet specifications (ie. Deburring, In Process Inspections)
- Notify supervisors or setup personnel if issues arise
- Keep work area clean and organized
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years CNC machine operating experience
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Basic inspection and measurement skills
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Self-motivated and able to maintain production
