Position Overview

The Manufacturing Financial Analyst supports day-to-day financial and operational processes within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and Accounting to ensure accurate costing, inventory integrity, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn manufacturing finance, and comfortable working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.

This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting audits, and providing visibility into manufacturing variances and operational performance.

This is a fully onsite position located in Henderson, NV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weekly review of core manufacturing and inventory processes, including cycle counts, inventory adjustment approvals, and procedural compliance
  • Support Bill of Materials (BOM) costing and cost roll-ups for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Ensuring BOMs are up to date and set to proper cost
  • Process and review finished goods (FG) invoicing to ensure accurate costing and financial posting
  • Assist with Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory identification, tracking, and disposal analysis
  • Generate and distribute weekly manufacturing variance reports (labor, material, overhead, usage)
  • Run and maintain monthly manufacturing and inventory reports
  • Perform inventory reconciliations between operational systems and the general ledger
  • Support third-party / contract manufacturing material tracking, including inventory ownership, usage, and reconciliation
  • Assist during internal and external audits, including inventory testing, documentation, and reconciliations
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field)
  • No experience required; 1–2 years of experience preferred; manufacturing or inventory exposure a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain
  • Willingness to learn ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to manufacturing environments (WIP, BOMs, standard costing)
  • Experience with inventory controls, cycle counts, or variance analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or BI/reporting tools (Power BI a plus)
  • Exposure to supply chain operations
