Job Opening – Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager (Construction)
San Diego | Full-Time | In-Office
Fast-growing remodeling company seeking a highly organized, numbers-driven finance professional to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations in close coordination with the Office Manager.
This role includes full responsibility for payments, payroll, reports, banks, checks, reconciliations, and ongoing financial control of the company, while working directly with an external CPA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Full use and management of QuickBooks
- Vendor and subcontractor payments
- Check runs, bank activity, and bank reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- Accounts payable and receivable (AP / AR)
- Weekly and monthly financial reports
- Advanced, daily use of Excel
- Financial order and control across all company transactions
- Preparing all materials for the CPA for month-end and year-end closing
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in accounting / finance
- Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
- Strong Excel skills (required)
- Experience with payroll, payments, and financial reporting
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Construction industry experience – an advantage

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
