Role Overview
The Project Architect is responsible for leading architectural design development and translating the DesignHOME vision into fully coordinated, permit-ready, construction-ready documentation that aligns precisely with established budgets and delivery timelines.
Unlike traditional design-bid-build environments, the Project Architect works in direct, continuous collaboration with creative team, interior design, visualization and construction leadership, estimators, and consultants—shaping design decisions in real time to maintain architectural integrity, build brand identity while protecting cost, schedule, and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development for high-end custom residences within a Design-to-Budget framework
- Work with out outstanding visualization department to help shape and inform architecture.
- Oversee the completion and coordination of construction documents suitable for permitting, financing, and construction
- Collaborate closely with in-house construction and estimating teams to ensure constructability, cost alignment, and schedule discipline
- Evaluate design decisions through the lenses of aesthetics, code compliance, feasibility, and financial impact
- Coordinate consultants and work with our Interiors team to identify specialty trades and materials to maintain design intent and execution clarity
- Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and jurisdictional approvals
- Uphold DesignHOME’s standards for detailing, documentation rigor, and architectural excellence
Qualifications
- Registered Architect (License Required)
- 7 years of professional experience, preferably in custom residential or high-end mixed-scope projects
- Strong technical and construction documentation expertise
- Demonstrated ability to design within defined budgets without compromising quality
- Deep understanding of residential construction, zoning, and building codes
- Experience working collaboratively with builders and estimators (design-build experience preferred)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
