As a Tanning Consultant, you’ll provide personalized experiences for each guest, guiding them through tanning services in a clean, friendly salon environment. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of red light therapy, explore different types of tanning lotions and spray tans, and get to know the science behind tanning. Throughout every step, safety and sanitation will always remain a top priority.
We’re looking for someone self-motivated who takes the initiative to solve problems and handle tasks confidently. Someone who takes pride in keeping their workspace spotless and genuinely enjoys helping people feel good about themselves. You’ll deliver top-notch customer service, handle transactions smoothly, and recommend beauty and cosmetic products tailored to each client’s needs. Reporting to the salon manager, you’ll find plenty of chances to develop your skills and increase your earnings by confidently upselling premium services that produce real results for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in a retail or salon setting, with strong customer service and upselling skills
- Proficiency with cash handling and processing transactions
- Knowledge of tanning services, including DHA application and red light therapy benefits
- Hygiene and sanitation practices for beauty environments; salon maintenance and cleanliness
- Ability to operate spray tan booth and perform basic cleaning duties; team-oriented and reliable
- Basic cosmetology understanding is a plus; comfortable working in a beauty/cosmetics sales role
