Our Sales Associates bring their passion for assisting our design clients through their design process. Our objective at Designer’s Library is to create a welcoming atmosphere that builds client trust and establishes our position as a leading expert design showroom in the local market.As a sales associate, you will bring your own passion and knowledge of the products, along with the energy and desire to assist Kansas City’s dynamic Designers.You'll create genuine connections, helping customers find their own unique designs. You'll collaborate with your team members and managers to drive business growth, create lasting customer experiences, and bring a positive, solution-oriented energy to the position.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive sales by surpassing sales goals through exceptional customer service and support.Use product knowledge of 100 lines to efficiently source and price for the client.Write up accurate and detailed sales and purchase orders for your client’s design project.Maintain order information with the vendors of the products included in your projects.Collaborate with the team to curate products on the showroom floor.Assist with the design and movement of furniture vignettes on the showroom floor.Maintain and develop excellent client relationships.QualificationsSales and/or Customer service experienceStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail – essential for submitting and maintaining ordersThe ability to coordinate and maintain several projects at onceKnowledge and experience with QuickBooks and the Microsoft 365 SuiteWillingness to learn and a desire to develop new skills and talentsWhat we offerCompetitive payPaid vacations and holidaysIndustry time off from Dec. 25 to Jan. 1.Employee discountsStandard work week Monday - Friday
