Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Supervise and motivate retail staff, providing guidance on sales techniques, customer interactions, and product knowledge.
- Participate in recruiting efforts by conducting interviews and onboarding new employees to build a high-performing team.
- Manage employee scheduling and shift assignments
- Maintain inventory control through stock ordering
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and cash handling procedures.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance team skills in retail math, POS systems, customer service, and operational procedures.
Skills
- Strong management skills with experience supervising retail sales teams
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Demonstrated leadership with experience in training & development, team management, and operational oversight.
